iPhone 7

Hi Guys!

Long time no see!! I have been very busy lately with studying. However, I watched the release of the new iPhone 7 & Plus; Including the new version of the original apple watch. For the people reading this post and aren't into technology and new releases; Apple releases a new update or piece of tech around September time every year. Last year Apple released the iPhone 6 & 6s, these came with a whole new look, which included the thin antenna band which was colour coordinated to the colour of the phone. This came with the colours Gold, Silver, Grey and a new release of the colour Rose Gold (which was only available in the 6s), which became very popular and has been carried on in the new iPhone 7 & Plus. The iPhone 6 was released with the fingerprint ID which has been included in all apple phones after the 5s. However, a new feature was released which was 3D touch, which changed the way the user could use the phone depending on the pressure of touch they used.

All these features and more were included in the release of the iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus. On top of these features they also improved the camera quality, by giving it a 12MP camera with a digital zoom of up to 5x. There is a six-element lens and a Quad-LED two tone flash, making this the perfect photo for photo enthusiasts. Apple also decided to get rid of the headphone port and replace it by using the lightening cable port for both charging and Headphones. Although this is improving the phone by enabling more room for extra speakers, it also means that you have to use the apple headphones or the adapter. On the other hand apple provide a solution to this, which is Bluetooth earphones. However, these 'AirPods'  cost £159.00! Apple do provide a set of EarPods that are suitable for the iPhone 7, so I don't think this is much of a problem.

So, Overall my opinion on the new iPhone 7 is that it's improved and changed a lot. However, I won't be rushing out to buy one anytime soon! I love that they have improved the camera and I think that the new colour 'Jet Black' looks really good. So in conclusion, I think that the new iPhone 7 & 7 Plus is amazing, They just aren't as different from the iPhone 6s for me to want to upgrade my phone. However, If you are looking to buy an iPhone, I think that the iPhone 7 is the way to go, as the technology on the phone is very

(Disclaimer: All these opinions are my own. I am not an expert on technology)

GCSE Results

Hi Guys,
This is just a (very) quick post to for everyone collecting their GCSE's today. I hope everyone achieves their goals! Just remember GCSE's don't define a person, or their ability. If you put in your all, then you should be proud of your results whatever you get! Once again, Good Luck!

My Everyday Makeup Routine

I have to admit, I don't do my makeup everyday. Either I don't have time, or I just can't be bothered. But that's okay, because it's important to understand that you shouldn't be ashamed to show the world what you look like without makeup on! So, if we are going to be picky, I should have named this blog post - My Every Day Makeup Routine If I Can Be Bothered. But, I think we can ALL agree that it's a bit lengthy! I also think its good to not continuously wear makeup excessively, as it can make your skin worse than it might have been before. So, this means that it is extremely important to wash and cleanse your face when removing your makeup. Anyway, enough with the chit chat! Let's get on with my routine...

Firstly, I apply a primer. I change my primer frequently, as I am still trying to find one that is perfect for my skin. I feel like the perfect primer should be moisturising for you skin with an SPF to protect your skin and to be able to keep your makeup on throughout the day.

I then gently tap/rub in my foundation. I use my hands to apply my foundation as I think it helps the foundation give an even coverage and doesn't leave any brush marks. The foundation I am currently using is the Nars Sheer Glow foundation. I got my Nars foundation in Sephora and where I was served by a very kind lady, who chose a colour that she thought suited my skin tone and then showed me what it looked like with all of the Nars products. I really recommend going to Sephora (If you are passing by) and trying out the makeup there, as I found that the staff at the Sephora I went to were very helpful and polite.

After Foundation I then apply my concealer, at the moment I am also using the Nars concealer, as I find that using the same brand insures that the consistency and coverage of the product is the same as the foundation ( However, this is only in my opinion), I usually get concealer in a slightly lighter shade than my foundation to lighten under my eyes. I tend to blend this in using my ring fingers as your touch is lighter. I apply my concealer under my eyes and then on any spots or blemishes I may have.

Then it's time for contouring, which I think is really important for bringing life back into your face. I usually use a matte bronzer just underneath my cheek bones to make them look more define and then down the side of my nose, as well of around the edges of my forehead. I then use a shimmery highlight at the top of my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose. I then apply Blusher to the apples of my cheeks and use a blending brush to (yep you guessed it!) blend all the powders.

Once I am happy with how my contour looks, I then move on to my favourite part, the eyes! For my everyday makeup, I usually use a light pink eyeshadow all over the lid, as I think it is subtle and really complements my brown eyes! I think use either a darker pink or light purple in the crease of my eye and I use a small blending brush to (yep you guess it again!) blend out the eyeshadow. To define my eyebrows I usually add a matte highlight just underneath them. However, I don't fill in my eyebrows as I feel I don't have to, it's personal preference. I then apply my everyday N07 Mascara and my eyes are finished.

Lastly, Lips. I usually apply a light pink or nude lipstick with my everyday makeup look, my favourite lipstick for this look is velvet teddy. Or sometimes, I use a lip gloss.

Then My everyday Makeup Routine is finished, it usually takes me around half an hour (sometimes less) to complete this makeup look. Thank you soo much for reading this blog post!

Favourite summer smoothie

Hi guys,

I decided to post a short extra blog post on my favourite summer smoothie!  I recommend trying this recipe! I used the Breville VBL075 Blend Active Blender, I think this product is really quick and easy to use. I use this product on a daily basis and I highly recommend it, I leave a link to it at the end of this post, for you guys to check out!!

My First smoothie is this Exotic smoothie. The ingredients are:
Frozen Papaya
Frozen Pineapple
Frozen Mango
Frozen Strawberries
Fresh Banana (I used half of the banana)
Frozen Blueberries
Milk (I used Semi-Skinned milk)

I haven't included any ingredients measurements, as I think that it really depends on the amount of smoothie that you would like to make and how many people the smoothie is being made for. I just try to use the same amount of each fruit.

Firstly I blend all of the fruit together, and then I slowly add the milk and continue blending, until I reach the desired consistency.

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

Top 5 things to do this summer

Summer is finally here, There's no school and it's time to relax!
After the first few days of relaxing (Hopefully) in the sun, it's time to start being active! During my Summer break, I love to travel. Whether it's flying across the globe or taking a train, you can count me in! So, here are my top 5 things to do this summer!

  1. Hang out with friends, this can be anything from  a shopping trip to  visiting skate parks. I love to go shopping and see a movie with my favourite girls, it means I get to catch up on everything they've been up to and have fun.
  2. Go Swimming, If you live near a beach then this one is perfect for you! If not then you go to your nearest indoor or outdoor pool and have a splash! Swimming can be really fun and a great way to cool down, as well as being an amazing form of exercise.
  3. Get creative, Summer is the perfect time to start being creative! You can paint a picture, create a collage or try some DIY. I love taking photographs, so during the summer I take my camera with me everywhere I go and capture all my memories to put into my scrap book. I think its important to keep a scrap book or diary, so you can look back on everything you have done and show other people how you are lining your life!
  4. Create a bucket list, on this list write down all the things you would like to have experienced in your summer break and then go and live them! An example could be to go sky diving, or enter and take part in a marathon. You can do anything you set your mind to and if you work hard enough, you will be sure to accomplish it!
  5. Create a website or a photo journal, show people across the globe what you are passionate about and don't be afraid to be yourself! Whether its Beauty, Sports, Art or even Skateboarding, express your passion through a website or photo journal!
You only have one life, Go live it!!!

Products I've used up!

Hi Guys!

I'm soooo sorry that this blog post is late again, I have been really really busy lately. But from now on my posts should be on time! Fingers Crossed :)

So today I have got an 'empties' post, with drugstore products.  I got this post idea from Zoella Sugg, I love Zoe's videos and think her blog posts are really good, so I thought I would try this post! I hope you enjoy it!!!

Okay so my first empty product, is the Maybelline super stay 24 foundation. I have used this foundation quite a lot recently as I think it works really well on my skin. This foundation is recommended for people with oily skin (which I have) rather than dry as it gives off more of a matte effect, to stop the skin looking as oily. This foundation does what it says on the tin as it stays on for a really long time with a primer. I would definitely recommend this foundation. However, I won't be purchasing this foundation again, because I love testing out different foundations.

The next item I have used up is the Casual sea salt spray by Toni and Guy, this is the second time I have purchased this item. This spray is absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend you trying out this product! I use it to create texture in my hair, making it easier to style. I will definitely be repurchasing this item again!

Next on the list is a morning face exfoliator, This exfoliator was quite good, however I don't think it was the right one for me, as I have quite sensitive skin and this face exfoliator was quite harsh on my skin, so I am going to be using my face wash/exfoliator by simple as it is more gentle on my skin. I am not going to be repurchasing this item again :(

This is Vaseline's 'Spray and Go' body moisturiser. I Have used this non-stop for ages, I think it is an absolutely amazing product. It takes seconds to apply and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily, I usually use it after a shower, before I get ready to go out. I will definitely be re-purchasing this product.

This is the Batiste Dry Shampoo, I love this product it gives my hair more texture and volume, which is a huge plus when I'm trying to style my hair. This product is also amazing because it comes in travel size which means you can either use it on-the-go and keep it in your handbag or you can take it on holiday with you. I tend to keep it in my bag to refresh my hair if need be throughout the day.

Thank you so much for reading this weeks post!!

April Favourites

Hi Guys!
I have been waiting for ages to be able to post this! Spring is one of my favourite times of the year as the weather is beginning to turn into summer and the blossom is starting to grow on the trees. The sun is shining and there is a slight breeze, it's just perfect. However, there is lots to be said about summer as well!

So, let's start with the April favourites!!
(I will leave a link to all the products included in the April favourites at the bottom of the post)

My first favourite item is Marc Jacob's 'Daisy Dream'. This has been my go to perfume for the past couple of months, I also think that this perfume's packaging is beautiful! The scent of this perfume is very fresh and floral, as well as light and fruity

This is my favourite Mac lipstick at the moment as it is can match almost any makeup look. It is a cloudy pink colour, I think it is a very spring colour. I love to use this lip colour for more casual look, and an everyday look. To apply this lipstick I tend to use the Mac Lip brush 316, to line my lips and then I fill in the rest of my lips normally with the lipstick. I also line the outside of my lips with my concealer and blend it outwards, I think that this defines the lips more and makes the lip liner more accurate.

Next up is these two items which I bought from Superdrug, they are Revolutions VIVID Baked Bronzer and Baked Highlighter. I bought these two items a couple of weeks ago and I have loved them ever since. They both have a shimmer to them, which I think makes your makeup really stand out. The bronzer has a marble effect with a shimmer of gold. Once blended these two makeup products really complement each other! The Bronzer is the shade 'Rock on World' which I think is a really cool name and portraits the colour really well. The Highlighter is in the shade 'Golden Lights'

The next two items in my favourites are my Kiko eyeshadow cream. I think this eyeshadow is more of a formal look, I use it for parties and events. I usually use this eyeshadow when I want my eyes to stand out more. The colour of the eyeshadow is a rose gold/silver glitter, it looks amazing when blended with a darker pink matte on the crease of your eye and blended into a lighter pink. To do this I use the No7 smokey eye brush, which blends out my eyeshadows really well. The eye shadow cream is called 'Metallic shine eyeshadow'.

This is my new Bomber jacket, I got this jacket a few days ago from Primark. I Bought it in Primark for £15 as I wasn't sure whether I would suit this jacket, However I really like this jacket and I have been able to match this jacket with multiple outfit. My favourite outfit to wear with this jacket is black skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt, and a pair of converse.

This is my new favourite Mascara as it is a two in one. This mascara curls your lashes as well as making them seem longer. This mascara is very effective, although it is a very dramatic look and I don't think it would suit an everyday look, in my opinion.

This Eyeshadow palate is by Revolution and it has amazing colours that complement each other, I think that this palate is perfect if you want to create a brown smoky eye look. The palate comes in a plain black case with gold writing which I think looks really pretty, I also like the mirror as it is big enough to see your makeup clearly, and this also helps when traveling as you don't have to carry a mirror as well. It is called the Salvation Palate.

Thank you for reading this weeks post! I really enjoyed writing this post and trying out all these products. Incase you are interested in any of the products I have included in my April favourites, here are the links:
